I used to think that I was the sum of my choices.

I no longer define myself. Who God is and what He did now does. Anything less is to steal His glory.
This truly is freedom.
I have no trouble with God’s sovereignty concerning predestination. But although I know this is true as well, I have the hardest time really believing that God is still sovereign when I mess up or sin.
Let me be still and know that you are God.

The sovereignty of God does not preclude free will. In fact, what is amazing is that God’s sovereignty is so complete that He is sovereign even though we have free will. As such free will does not contradict God’s sovereignty; it only enhances it.
