OLSP - Chapter 6 - Changeover
I think teachers are one of the most important people in our society, second only to parents. Because teachers really control our future. Our politicians and government and big companies control the present, but our teachers and the schools and education really determine where our society will go. Which is why teachers should be paid so much more.
But I digress. The point is, the next generation is our future. And the next generation is us.
It’s the halfway mark. This is it.
The staff are gone next week for a retreat, and return for their farewell banquet. And then, Project is ours.

From this coming week forward, OLSP will be student run. And it’s exciting.
We’ve grown so much. Us students, we’ve bonded together, formed a community that’s close-knit, loving, and excited for each other to pursue God. And now, it’s time to take the next step.
It’s a look at the real world. We’re on our own now. No more parents or staff to guide us; it’s us and God and the world.
It’s time to take steps of faith. It’s time to reach out to our friends at work and people we meet. We’re in a place where we can either do nothing, or step out, knowing we might fall at any moment, and no one will catch us.
Except God. Reliance on God, excitement in our hearts, and the unknown in front of us.
But God is there. He’s going before us, and he’s prepared good works for us to do.
Lasdothis.
On a side note, Abby is getting baptized in 3 minutes!!!
Edit: And also my growth group buddy John!!!
